New Course : « Public Health Anthropology », Institute of Public Health, University Hospital Heidelberg. (10 au 21 juin 2013, Allemagne)
New short course in the Institute of Public Year in 2013 called « Public Health Anthropology ». It will take place June 10th to 21st. I’m coordinating the course together with a health-anthropologist from the South Asia Institute in Heidelberg.
The main topics to be covered in this short course are:
– Introduction to anthropology and relevant concepts for public health
– Qualitative research methods
– Application of anthropological approaches to Public Health
We have a particular focus on methods with exercices on both data collection with different tools and data analyses using Nvivo software.
Course is open to Master and doctoral students but also to researchers who want to gain expertise in qualitative methods and anthropological concepts related to public health.
