1.   International Conference on Cultural Memory
The Centre for Culture and Cultural Studies (CCCS) and The Balkan Network for Culture and Culture Studies (BNCCS) are organizing the first of many to follow, annually-held conferences, under the overarching theme of Cultural Memory. The conference will be held in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, on 5-6 September 2013. The deadline for proposals is 1 February 2013. >>>

2.   Exploring the Crossroads and Perspectives of Lusophone Studies
The Lusophone Studies Association Inaugural Conference entitled Exploring the Crossroads and Perspectives of Lusophone Studies will be held at York University, Toronto, Canada, on 30-31 October 2013. The deadline for submissions is 4 February 2013. >>>

3.   Heritage Forum of Central Europe: The Limits of Heritage
The 2nd Heritage Forum of Central Europe will take place in Krakow, Poland on 12-14 June 2013. This year’s edition is entitled The Limits of Heritage. Speakers of the forthcoming Forum will be selected in the call for papers procedure. Deadline for submissions is 10 February 2013. >>>

4.   Sixth International Conference on the Inclusive Museum: Museums and Active Citizenship
Proposals for paper presentations, workshops, or colloquia are invited for the Sixth International Conference on the Inclusive Museum to be held at the National Art Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen on 22-24 April 2013. The deadline for submissions is 14 February 2013. >>>

5.   Protests as Events / Events as Protests
A one day symposium for academics and activists will be organised by the International Centre for Research in Events, Tourism and Hospitality (ICRETH) and Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds, UK. The symposium entitled Protests as Events / Events as Protests will be held on 12 June 2013. Abstracts must be received by 10 March 2013. >>>

The European Festivals Association (EFA) announces the next three editions of its Ateliers for Young Festival Managers, to be held in Beirut, Lebanon, in autumn 2013 (application deadline 31 March 2012); Edinburgh, UK, in spring 2014 (application deadline 30 June 2012); and Kampala, Uganda, in autumn 2014. >>>

8.   Venice Printmaking Studio 2013 Residency
The Venice Printmaking Studio is a non-profit international studio devoted to large-format printmaking and artist’s books. Established and emerging artists are welcome to apply for residencies ranging from 2 weeks to up to 2 months. The organisers also welcome proposals from those who wish to come as a group, either through an academic institution or other arts organization. >>>
