The CIRIEC Scientific Commission on Public Economy/Public Services organizes a webinar entitled ‘SOEs as institutional actors in contemporary capitalism and beyond‘ presented by Gerhard Schnyder following the publication of the book of the same name, written by Olivier Butzbach, Douglas Fuller,Luda Svystunova and Gerhard Schnyder.

Gerhard Schnyder, Professor of International Management & Political Economy at Loughborough University London and a Research Associate at the Centre for Business Research (CBR), University of Cambridge, will walk us through this publication that looks at SOEs as economic actors in their own right in a context bound by specific factors, which, depending on the countries, can have an impact on SOEs leeway for agency.
