Expert in innovation, territorial development, corporate social and territorial responsibility and agricultural cooperatives, she has authored numerous works on cooperatives and held leadership roles, including on the HCCA (2015–2022) and AFNOR’s ISO 26030 CSR commission (2017–2020). Since 2022, she has been Editor-in-Chief of the International Review of the Social Economy RECMA and serves on the boards of ICA-CCR (Europe and World) and CIRIEC-France’s Steering and Scientific Advisory Committees. Juan Fernando Álvarez is professor at the Faculty of Environmental and Rural Studies at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogota, Colombia), where he directs the specialization in social and solidarity economy business management and serves as scientific representative to CIRIEC International. He is editor of Cuadernos de Desarrollo Rural, holds degrees in economics, social project evaluation (Universidad de los Andes, Venezuela and Colombia), a master in social economy (University of Barcelona, Spain), and a PhD in social sciences (University of Lisbon, Portugal). Recognized associate researcher, he is part of the Institutional Framework and Rural Development research group at Javeriana University. Saioa Arando Lasagabaster is the Scientific Coordinator of the Arizmendiarrieta Social Economy Think Tank (ASETT) and a professor and researcher at Mondragon Unibertsitatea (Spain). Formerly Scientific Coordinator of Mondragon Innovation & Knowledge (MIK) until 2020, she previously worked as a controller in an industrial worker cooperative while completing her PhD in Economics and Business Management at the University of Deusto. Her research focuses on employee participation, cooperativism, gender issues, and societal values, with numerous publications in books and journals.
