We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming seminar on « Decolonization as Method » which will be held on 20 April from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm (CET),
live at the University of Antwerp.This seminar will be led by Prof. Sabelo J. Ndlovu-Gatsheni, who is the Chair of Epistemologies of the Global South with Emphasis on Africa at the University of Bayreuth in Germany.
During the seminar, Professor Ndlovu-Gatsheni will discuss how decolonization as a method re-opens basic epistemological questions, proposes alternatives to colonialism/coloniality, and enables the re-writing, re-theorizing, and even unthinking of all that which colonialism/coloniality imposed on the modern world. Prof. Sara Geenen will act as discussant.Practical information and registrationPlease register before 18 April by emailingkatleen.vanpellicom@uantwerpen.be with your name and affiliation.
