j’ai le plaisir de vous convier au webinaire de lancement des différents rapports issus du projet« Foresight for Agroecology« mené par le Cirad et la FAO, et financé par la GIZ.
Le rapport auquel j’ai contribué avec Marie De Lattre-Gasquet et Théophane Hazoumé s’intitule« Foresight for the transformation of agrifood systems through agroecology – Guidance document for decision-makers and practioners ». Vous pourrez le télécharger sur ce lien :

Ci-dessous le résumé :
This publication explores how agricultural foresight methodologies can support agroecological transformation, offering a scientifically-grounded framework for integrating foresight into the transition toward more just and biodiverse food systems. Drawing on global expertise, stocktaking, and workshop deliberations, it provides insights and recommendations on how agricultural foresight processes can properly consider holistic approaches such as agroecology. The goal is to expand the range of choices and routes available to decision makers when envisioning pathways to transformative food systems. It is designed to help foresight practitioners implement foresight differently and better integrate agroecology, and agroecology researchers better understand what foresight is, and why such a process is useful in supporting food system transformation.
Bonne lecture, et au plaisir d’en débattre lors du webinaire!
OPEN WEBINARParticipatory foresight for sustainable agrifood systems through agroecology Thursday 3 July 2025 | 13:00 – 15:00 CET REGISTER HERE Dear colleagues,Can policy makers drive truly transformative change if they only consider conventional scenarios for the future of agrifood systems? About the eventAchieving sustainable agrifood systems calls for bold, forward-looking thinking and innovative tools that reflect the diversity of territorial realities, respond to systemic complexity, and enable inclusive transitions. Integrated, biodiverse approaches—particularly agroecology—are critical drivers of this transformation. Foresight approaches can play a pivotal role in enabling this process. By helping stakeholders anticipate change, test assumptions, and co-create visions for the future, foresight provides a dynamic space for inclusive dialogue and strategic visioning. This webinar will unveil the key outcomes and tools from the Foresight for Agroecology project, implemented by FAO and CIRAD, with financial support from GIZ on behalf of BMZ (2022 – 2025). The project leverages foresight approaches to support transitions towards sustainable agrifood systems through agroecology. Key tools include a global guidance document for decision-makers, as well as key lessons and insights from two participatory foresight exercises conducted in Andhra Pradesh (India) and Senegal. The event will address critical questions:Are foresight initiatives currently integrating agroecological pathways? Which actors are involved in foresight exercises, and do they represent a variety of experiences, disciplines, and viewpointsWhat metrics and methods are needed to develop scenarios for inclusive and sustainable agrifood systems? How can foresight approaches evolve to better support transitions towards sustainable agrifood systems?
