PHC Protea 2026

L’Ambassade de France en Afrique du Sud annonce l’ouverture de l’appel du Programme PHC Protea 2026, financé par le Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères, le Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche et la Fondation nationale de la recherche sud-africaine (NRF). Cet appel, couvrant toutes les disciplines scientifiques, vise à promouvoir la coopération scientifique entre la France et l’Afrique du Sud en finançant des projets collaboratifs sur deux ans entre des équipes des deux pays, favorisant ainsi la mobilité des chercheur·ses vers leurs partenaires. La date limite de candidature est reportée au 31 juillet 2025. The Embassy of France in South Africa announces the opening of the PHC Protea 2025 call for proposals, funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and the National Research Foundation (NRF). This call, covering all scientific disciplines, aims to promote scientific cooperation between France and South Africa by funding collaborative projects over two years between teams from both countries, facilitating the mobility of researchers to their partners. The application deadline has been extended to July 31, 2025. Série d’émissions “L’Afrique du Sud, des histoires à réconcilier”, La Fabrique de l’Histoire (France Culture), 2018

Ce mois-ci, redécouvrez la série d’émissions La Fabrique de l’histoire (France Culture) sur l’Afrique du Sud, réalisée en 2018 en partenariat avec le pôle Idées et savoirs de l’Institut Français et l’IFAS-Recherche. Des chercheur·ses et partenaires de l’IFAS-Recherche replacent l’Afrique du Sud dans l’histoire du continent africain, évoquent l’étude du fossile de Little Foot, la fabrique de l’histoire nationale afrikaner à travers le Monument aux Voortrekkers, et décortiquent les enregistrements audios du procès de Rivonia. This month, rediscover the broadcast series by the radio show La Fabrique de l’Histoire (France Culture) dedicated to South Africa (in French), produced in 2018 in collaboration with the Institut Français and IFAS-Recherche. Researchers and IFAS-Research’s partners discuss South Africa’s place within the African continental history, explore the study of the Little Foot fossil, the construction of Afrikaner national history through the Voortrekker Monument, and analyse audio recordings from the Rivonia Trial.

Fellowship Programme of the French Institutes for Advanced Study

The French Institutes for Advanced Study (FIAS) Fellowship Programme offers 10-month fellowships at the seven Institutes of Aix-Marseille, Cergy, Loire Valley (Orléans-Tours), Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes and Paris. It is open to all disciplines in the Social Sciences and the Humanities (SSH) and to all other research fields interfacing with the SSH and welcomes applications from high-level international scholars and scientists. Contrats doctoral et postdoctoral en science politique, CERAPS, Université de Lille | Doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships in political science, CERAPS, University of Lille

Le laboratoire CERAPS (Université de Lille) offre un contrat doctoral de 36 mois, intitulé « Devenir député en Afrique : Sociologie politique comparée des rôles et du travail parlementaires (Sénégal – Côte d’Ivoire) », ainsi qu’un contrat postdoctoral de 18 mois, rattaché à l’ANR PARLAF, portant sur les « Députés en Afrique : analyse comparée d’une profession politique ». L’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) lance sa campagne de recrutement de doctorant·es contractuel·les. Les 39 contrats doctoraux se répartissent entre les 11 formations doctorales de l’EHESS. Les appels à candidatures sont ouverts jusqu’au 31 juillet 2025 (12 juin 2025 en histoire).

Programme Point Sud 2026 – Financement d’événements en SHS | Social Sciences and Humanities event fundings

Sur la base d’un accord entre l’Université Goethe de Francfort/Main et la Fondation allemande pour la recherche (DFG), le « Programme Point Sud » finance des évènements de sciences humaines et sociales en rapport avec l’Afrique. Ce numéro thématique de la Revue Européenne des Migrations Internationales souhaite explorer la notion de vulnérabilité comme fluide et contestée, façonnée par l’évolution des paysages politiques et des dynamiques de coopération internationale, et explorer l’impact des différentes acceptions de cette notion sur l’accès à la protection et sur l’objectif du partage des charges.
